Work History

Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission (WSSC) – Laurel, MD

Project Manager – Pipeline Construction – October 2021 – Present

As Project Manager I have led cross-functional project teams for managing replacement projects with varying levels of complexity. In this role, I have primarily been responsible for coordinating pipeline design for water and sewer replacement programs. I am responsible for managing design reviews, monitoring project and program costs, overseeing work required in the construction phase, assisting in developing cost estimates for work outside the limits, and supporting e-builder functions throughout the Division. Additionally, I have worked on specialty projects to deliver organizational improvements, such as information management systems, training protocols, consistency between sections of the Pipeline Construction Division, business development arrangements, and similar administrative projects. I have led functionally diverse project teams and have developed my ability to effectively communicate with a variety of stakeholders and team members to accomplish the intent and objectives of individual projects.

Development Facilitators Inc. (DFI) – Washington, DC

Technical Contract Manager for WSSC – June 2020 – September 2021

Provided Construction Management oversight while ensuring contract adherence in the execution of sewer rehabilitation projects within the Piscataway Basin as well as working with other WSSC divisions in the review of Sewer Rehabilitation Task Orders and Contracts.

IPR Northeast, LLC – Washington, DC

General Manager – March 2020 to May 2020
Senior Project Manager – November 2017 to March 2020
Project Manager – October 2016 to November 2017
Associate Project Manager – April 2016 to October 2016

Through diligence, attention to detail, and objective execution I grew from an Associate Project Manager to General Manager at an accelerated rate.  I took pride in providing oversight and effective program management on several multiple million-dollar contracts during my tenure.  By managing, forecasting, and coordinating field operations, and providing the necessary leadership of the project management team, I directed the execution of Underground Construction Projects in both urban and environmentally sensitive areas within multiple states.

As the General Manager, I was responsible for the safety of the IPR Crew Members and Subcontractors, in addition to the continued growth and expansion of the Business Unit through strategic estimating and project execution within the Northeast Region. Prior to that, when managing the individual projects and contracts, I was responsible for the efficient execution of construction projects, project tracking, internal and external status reporting, and personnel management training to ensure that objectives were met.
